Newhaven College is proud to share its stunning grounds and facilities with our local community. Our facilities can be used by Sporting Clubs, Art Exhibitors and Conference Organisers. Please read and complete the document below for hire.

Gym

Newhaven College’s gym is located near the front entry of school, making it easily accessible during and outside school hours. There is plenty of parking, with the opportunity to expand parking areas if required. The facility itself contains two full-size basketball/netball courts, with a central divider if required. The change rooms and toilets provide plenty of space for teams. The space also includes a small gym with weights and treadmill. The facility also has excellent lighting, sound system for announcements or commentary, plus a large screen with projector.

Oval

The beautifully maintained oval provides for AFL matches and cricket pitch, as well as other sporting activities. It is closely located near the gym with change rooms and viewing platform.

Soccer Pitch

Our well maintained full-size grass soccer pitch near gym receives rave reviews from visiting teams. The gym's change rooms/toilets are available for use.

Hockey Pitch

Hockey needs a well-maintained pitch, and our full-size grass hockey pitch near gym has everything you need, with change rooms/toilets.

Tennis Courts

Located near the gym facilities, the 12 full-size tennis courts, with surround netting.

Cricket Nets

Three cricket nets are available for cricket practice.

Pavilion

On the east side of the oval stands the school pavilion which includes the school canteen. This space can be hired for events outside of school hours. The facilities include food preparation areas, refrigeration, bain-maries, tea and coffee making facilities including espresso machine.

The Collect – Middle School Multipurpose Area

The heart of the Middle School is The Collect, which is a large multi-purpose indoor open space. The space includes 4 screens for displays, plus a sound system. Chairs can be hired for lecture-style arrangements or include tables for a more relaxed setup. There are no catering facilities in this venue, but food and drinks can be brought in if required.

Food Technology Area

Our state-of-the-art food tech area provides expansive food preparation space and numerous ovens. For use outside of school times.

Lecture Theatre

Located in the Senior School, this agora-style lecture theatre seats around 200 people. The simple design has the seating in a semi-circular layout, with the stage below the seating areas.
